Green Army Unite was recently established in 2019.
Green Army believes that the survival of mankind depends on a psychic shift in our perception of nature, and that our relationship with the environment needs a drastic overhaul. A percentage of proceeds will be donated to a charity to help carry this belief.
On the surface, Green Army is all about great products and ease of purchase. We want our customers to have a great experience on the site. We currently are using a third party to manufacture our apparel.
Eventually, Green Army will introduce a new brand that is dedicated to using environmentally and ethically sourced materials to create great quality, yet affordable, clothing for men, women and kids. What sets us apart is that 15% of proceeds from this brand will be donated to funding the cleanup ocean plastics. The brand is called “Plastic Shores Apparel”, or PSA for short.
The history of the company is brief. The idea came when one of our senior partners was on vacation in Hawaii and while snorkeling kept getting bombarded by plastic baggies and bottles and wanted to find a way to reuse ocean plastics in a positive way. Being a huge fan of Patagonia he wanted to not just create a product, but establish a lifestyle. Having been inspired by the young Dutch entrepreneur, Boyan Slat, he decided that his vision just might be possible.
Our products will include several different types of tops (graphics, tees, tanks, long sleeves, etc), swimwear, board shorts, and accessories such as flip flops, visors and tote bags.
